Gevrey-Chambertin Premier Cru Petite Chapelle – Wine Advocate – 91-93 Points
The 2014 Gevrey Chambertin 1er Cru Petit Chapelle comes from the domaine’s smallest holding at 0.25-hectares. It has a pure, tightly wound bouquet with black cherries and strawberry pastilles, floral tones emerging with time. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin. There is good nervosité here, tangible mineralité with impressive persistence on the finish. Very feminine and beguiling, this wine will only require a couple of years in bottle but it has the pedigree and substance to age with style.
