The Tablelands Wine Company was born in the heart of the Big Apple back in January of 2009, and once New Yorkers had a taste there was no stopping the demand that followed. Co-directors Magnus Riddiford and Simon Buck are the key figures responsible for setting Tablelands’ wines apart, having both grown up in Martinborough and Wellington, New Zealand, respectively. They both migrated to the United States with wine in their DNA, and after years of experience within the wine industry discovered each other to build their own brand. The combination of New Zealand roots and US expertise gives the Tablelands Wine Company an edge when communicating to customers in the market, bringing a unique wine that’s sophisticated with charming kiwi authenticity. “We know our wine, and we know some of New Zealand’s best grape growers and winemakers,” remark Magnus and Simon. “Great vineyards and talented people make great wine.
