Château Pavie-Macquin owes its name to the grandfather of the current owners: Albert Macquin (1852-1911) to whom Saint-Emilion owes the introduction of grafted vines that saved the vineyards ruined by phylloxera. This family-owned estate is perfectly located on the plateau dominating Saint Emilion.
